KESOFO – Kenya Community Sports Foundation
KESOFO is a non-governmental organisation empowering the society using sports as a medium.
A large part of the Kenyan people are facing problems in the form of discrimination due to gender, HIV/AIDS and a polluted environment. This together with tension between between people of a different tribe or religion creates problems at all levels - from individuals to the whole society. As KESOFO, this is what we are trying to change.
Sports is something that speaks to all people, something that brings them together. With this in mind, we organize various sports tournaments and clinics and provide information on the above mentioned topics. Also, sports in itself has a disarming effect on people.
We strongly believe in a non-discriminating society and therefore, our motto is SPORTS FOR ALL!
