Kenya Social Forum In Sweden (KESOFO) was founded in March 2006. The need to set up the Forum arose as a result of a huge vacuum that existed among Kenyans at the organizational level. Since 2003, the Kenyan community has remained unorganized with devastating consequences.

The launching of Kesofo represents a re-awakening of the Kenyan community in Sweden by a layer that is convinced about the unbeatable advantages of an organized community. Kenyans behind Kesofo are a conscious lot that has learnt from past experiences and that has refused to let history stand in the way of organized communal life.

As a Kenyan or a friend of Kenya, Kesofo is open, not just for your membership but also for your active participation.  The Ambition of Kesofo founders is to find a common ground upon which the Kenyan community In Sweden can interact and address various issues that continue to crop up from time to time. Because of the noble intentions of Kesofo, you are encouraged to join the Forum!
