Program outline
The Program will be implemented on the basis of setting up groups to deal with different issues. The four point basic guidelines of the groups will be as follows:
- Every group to organize itself independently.
- Group members to form independent sub-committees to run the affairs of the groups.
- Different sub-committees to co-ordinate on matters of mutual interest with other groups.
- Groups to co-ordinate with the Executive committee to discuss ways and means of assistance depending on need.
1. CHILDREN’S GROUP
- To co-ordinate and organize children’s activities through the help of parents and other Kenyans interested in children’s affairs.
2. YOUTH GROUP
- To mobilize the youth and to identify problems confronting the youth that needs to be tackled by the Forum.
- Co-ordinate and organize youth programs and activities.
3. WOMEN’S GROUP
- Co-ordinate and organize women
4. MEN’S GROUP
- Co-ordinate and organize men.
5. PARENT’S GROUP
- Co-ordinate and organize parents.
6. POLITICAL GROUP
- Address the political issues that come up from time to time.
7. EMERGENCY GROUP
- Deal with emergencies eg funeral and medical harambees or any other issue considered an emergency
8. COMPLAINTS AND DISCIPLINARY SUB COMMITTEE
- Deal with conflicts and other disciplinary issues that come up within the Forum
9. ENTERTAINMENT GROUP
- Address entertainment issues eg discos, music concerts etc
10. RELIGIOUS GROUP
- Address the religious aspects of matters arising.
11. WAZEE HUKUMBAKA CLUB
- Organize wazee and provide a Forum for wazee to be productive in society
12. SINGLES CLUB
- Co-ordinate singles among Kenyan and friends in Sweden. Create opportunities for singles to hook up to discuss discuss and sort out issues affecting them.
13. BUDGET SUB COMMITTEE
- Deals with budgetary matters within the Forum in conjunction with the Executive committee.
- Co-ordinates with the Executive committee on issues dealing with finance, accountability and fund raising.
14. MEDIA GROUP:
- To work towards creating a Media channel through which activities of the Forum can be spread to members and Wakenya in Sweden and abroad.
